My Home (1977)

And now, I must arise and go home,
Far away, the golden sun sets in the west.
The birds fly to their nests.
As the flowers drop their petals
On the cattle grass, at the end of the day.
The farmers return home from the open fields.
And the crickets sing, reminding me
A home which is not far away.
Leaving my nature friends I arise and go home.
Sunset(1976)
(Published in Academy Boys’ Chronicle in 1976)
The crimson streak of daylight
Stretched from North to South.
The calm seat met it at the horizon.
I stood on a lofty boulder,
As a crab scurried into a crevice.
The wind whistled around me
And a gull flew across the sky.
The city lights lit one by one
And the sun said adieu and sunk into the sea.
The radiant moon lit the darkness in the night.
Morning (1977)

Oh, what a blissful moment it is!
To feel the cool fresh breeze blow on one’s face.
To see the flowers bloom beneath the trees.
To hear the trees sing heavenly about the morning.
To watch the new day break in my presence.
I witness the sun rise behind the peaked mountains
Into the naked blue sky
And I feel the touch of the divine
Watching a sun rise.
